Mike Williams

No team has a more favorable schedule over the next two weeks than the Chargers, and Keenan Allen will sit out due to a hamstring injury. Because of Mike Williams’ boom/bust performances in his career, fantasy managers may view him unfavorably. Fantasy managers tend to overreact to the “shiny new toys” — everyone is flocking towards Josh Palmer and De’Andre Carter. We still expect the AFC West to provide favorable, pass-heavy game scripts. Using the Stealing Signals tool, we see that Williams ran 91% of the routes in Week 1. In a likely high-scoring game against the Chiefs in Week 2, he should earn more targets.
