The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added the final piece in their Super Bowl aspirations by picking Rachaad White at No. 91. Will White convince the Bucs to stop wasting downs on throws to Leonard Fournette? Or will he be the next fantasy favorite to be wasted in Tampa Bay’s offense?
Despite underutilizing him for several years, Tampa Bay decided they needed to replace Ronald Jones. Rachaad White comes in with a much stronger pass-catching profile than Jones, but he’s also much older. Tampa Bay also had Giovani Bernard on the team last year, and also refused (mostly) to the throw the ball his way. So there are legitimate questions about how they plan to use White. Yet there are also aspects of White’s profile that suggest he may be a more compelling target.
