Jahan Dotson May Have Been Overdrafted by the Commanders, But Can He Still Become a Fantasy Force?

The Washington Commanders traded down and selected Jahan Dotson with the No. 16 pick. Is Dotson the future of the Washington receiving game, or will the other question marks in the Commanders’ offense make it difficult to unlock him?

Jahan Dotson has been generating the least fantasy buzz of any receiver rumored to go in the first round. Now that he’s officially the 16th player off the board, should fantasy managers be paying closer attention?

The Commanders addressed their quarterback position earlier in the offseason, trading for Carson Wentz. The feeling at the time was that this trade would probably not keep Washington from drafting a quarterback. Yet with Kenny Pickett and Malik Willis still on the board, the Commanders decided to give Wentz additional weapons. Will Dotson help justify Washington’s decision not to bring in first-round competition for Wentz?
