New Buccaneer Russell Gage Looks for Fantasy Relevance in a Crowded Room

Zachary Krueger breaks down Russell Gage signing with the Buccaneers and what that could mean for the 2022 fantasy season.

As the original Russell Gage Stan, it is only appropriate that I offer up my valuable takes on Tom Brady’s newest man. The Buccaneers and Gage agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal that includes $20 million in guaranteed money. A member of the 2018 draft class, Gage was a sixth-round draft pick who has gone for 193-2065-9 in his four-year career with the Falcons.

Following Mohamed Sanu’s trade to the Patriots midway through the 2019 season, Gage has proven to have a reliable floor. Since the trade of Sanu, Gage has averaged 11.3 PPG, and has produced as a WR2 or better in 34% of his games.

What can we expect from Gage heading into the 2022 season as a member of the Buccaneers?
