Fantasy Drafters Face a Difficult Choice as Chase Edmonds Lands in Miami

The first domino to fall in free agency was Chase Edmonds signing a two-year, 12.6-million-dollar deal with the Miami Dolphins. He’s now back in his familiar position with half of the high-value touches in a committee. Or at least that’s the likely outcome. It’s possible that Edmonds will act as a modified bell cow. This is sure to drive his ADP up into the running back Dead Zone. Does Edmonds fit the profile of a Dead Zone RB to target? Or is he just a younger version of 2021 Mike Davis?

To answer these questions, we need to look at how Edmonds has accrued his fantasy points so far and evaluate his fit in Mike McDaniel’s offense.
