It’s been clear for quite some time that the 2022 NFL Draft Class wouldn’t exactly be “stacked” at the running back position. Breece Hall (Iowa State), Isaiah Spiller (Texas A&M), Kenneth Walker III (Michigan State), and Kyren Williams (Notre Dame) seem to be perceived as the consensus top four right now. But who are some names outside of the obvious that we should be targeting in rookie drafts this year?
Some want to get excited about Brian Robinson Jr. (Alabama), James Cook (Georgia), and Zamir White (Georgia) primarily because of the helmets they wore in college. However, those guys aren’t likely going to be values on draft day with many managers reaching for these running backs from the two schools currently vying for the “RB U” crown.
So what other running backs could burst onto the scene and contribute for fantasy football from this class? Let’s take a look.
