Despite taking Jalen Reagor in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles went back to the wide receiver well again in 2021.^[1]Justin Jefferson was still on the board, Howie. With their first selection in the draft, they took Alabama WR DeVonta Smith. Smith came into the NFL on the back of a campaign that saw him win the Heismann Trophy — an incredibly rare feat for a player of his position. So, how did Smith fare in his first season?
