Wide Receivers With Positive Matchups – Week 13
Minnesota is allowing 108 yards per game to WRs running routes from the slot. This bodes well for Amon-Ra St. Brown who faces the team this weekend and has run 80% of his routes from the slot. St. Brown will spend most of the game matched up against Mackensie Alexander who is allowing 7.3 points per game on direct targets. While that isn’t the worst total of all slot corners, it’s worth noting that Minnesota ranks 32nd in threshold games allowed to WRs and no team has allowed more yards per coverage snap to slot WRs. Threshold games are those in which a defense allows a WR(s) to eclipse 10.0 points or a TE(s) to eclipse 8.0 points. The GPS Matchup Rater forecasts a favorable outlook for St. Brown and fellow Lions receiver Kalif Raymond.
