Zero RB Watch: NFC Week 9 – The Breakout Stars Continue Their Rise, But What About the Big Names?

Shawn Siegele breaks down the key RB developments in the NFC heading into Week 9.

It was a tough week for NFC stars, with Alvin Kamara, Ezekiel Elliott, and Dalvin Cook all underperforming. At least Kamara found the end zone in his battle with the Buccaneers’ tough run defense. Breakout star D’Andre Swift also struggled.

The Zero RB stars had no such trouble with Cordarrelle Patterson continuing to average 19 PPG and Elijah Mitchell flashing the big-play ability that pushed him up the depth chart. One-week wonders took center stage in Philadelphia, where Boston Scott and Jordan Howard each crested 18 points on multi-TD performances.
