Week 1 is finally here. After all the drafting this summer and looking at things through a season-long lens for months, we now shift to DFS season, where we look at things week by week. In this series, I am going to walk you through the best game stacks of the week, how to play them and what contests they make the most sense for. I am also going to be identifying the best leverage points on the slate so we can take advantage when the field is wrong.
This is the most important thing in today’s DFS world. Everyone has access to awesome projections and is up to date on the latest news. The key is knowing that the NFL has so much variance, no matter how likely one outcome looks. We need to ask ourselves: if the narrative of the week’s outcome fails, which players will benefit?
