Fantasy football is all about value. Our goal is to maximize the return on every pick consistently. A first-round selection has to live up to lofty expectations, or we feel let down. Consequently, if a late-round pick doesn’t perform as well as expected, it doesn’t hurt as much because the cost to acquire was significantly less.
In single-quarterback leagues, quarterbacks are a bit more replaceable given the depth and relative parity at the position. That doesn’t mean you can (or should) take the final quarterback on the board and hope for the best. In this exercise, my goal is to identify three quarterbacks with the perfect blend of value and upside to get your team off to a strong start this season.
