Sam Wallace profiles three running backs that dynasty managers should be willing to pay up for.
In the age of buying low and selling high, it’s a worthwhile exercise to go against the grain once in a while. I’m not suggesting you go out of your way to sell your assets low just to get rid of them, although being stuck in sunk-cost fallacy could be its own conversation. I suggest that it’s okay to pay a premium for specific players that might already be ranked highly. What is considered a high price to pay right now could turn into a value down the road. The goal should always be to roster the best players possible and win as many titles as you can.
With that in mind, here are three running backs that I think fantasy managers should open their wallets for. None of these players will come cheap, but I believe the cost to acquire them is outweighed by the production they can provide your fantasy team for the next few seasons.
