When it comes to tight ends in fantasy football, the accepted wisdom is that you either take them early in drafts, or you take them late. In 2021, taking one early would likely mean spending a first-round pick on Travis Kelce, or landing George Kittle in the second. Or perhaps you really keep your powder dry and wait until round three to land Darren Waller. Whatever your fancy.
Say we follow the conventional wisdom, and don’t take any of these three players but choose to wait until the double-digit rounds before addressing the TE spot in our rosters. This year, Mark Andrews will not be on your squad. You will not be cheering for T.J. Hockenson. Yes, you won’t be affected by either the greatest rookie TE season in NFL history from Kyle Pitts or another first-year player who takes his time acclimating to the league.
So Round 10 has finally come around, and it is time for us to start thinking about taking a TE. Who should we be looking at? Here are five players with current Fanball ADPs in the 10th round for later.
