It’s always fun to go out and execute a fantasy draft to perfection, right down to your final few picks. The problem is, knowing just who to select with those final two picks can feel like a real burden. On the one hand, we’re talking about players who could have upside. On the other, we are trying to find the proper balance of drafting a player with high upside while also avoiding a total dud.
Curious to know who some of the best minds in the industry are chasing in the final rounds of their best ball drafts, I decided to reach out to Shawn Siegele, Blair Andrews, and Dave Caban to get some of their preferred late-round picks through the final three rounds of an FFPC best ball draft.
Running Backs
Darrynton Evans, TEN (275.1 ADP, RB70) – Shawn/Blair/Zach
When we talk about running backs with league-winning upside, Darrynton Evans should come immediately to mind. Since 2019, the Titans rank second in rush rate at 50%, and should continue to lean on the running game in 2021.
Derrick Henry is another year older, and is coming off his second straight season with 300-plus touches. Evans could serve as a third-down pass-catcher, and could be the back to own should Henry ever miss time.
