The Process
Before I look at Week 15, it is important to see if my process was successful. Here is a recap of last week’s recommendations. If you need a refresher on what to look for when analyzing defenses, read the first few paragraphs of Streaming Defenses — Week 2 article.
Defense | Sacks | Fumbles | Interceptions | Touchdowns | Points | Week 11 Rank |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Chargers D | 2 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 9 | T-9th |
Titans D | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 6 | 12th |
Giants D | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 18th |
If you’re still reading this, it means we’re well into the playoffs and looking to keep momentum on our side. Last week was, in a word, forgetful. The Chargers defense was our lone bright spot for the week. After practicing full all week, Kyler Murray was back to his old self, and that was bad news for our Giants. The Titans played a game called feed Derrick Henry to the tune of 26 rushes for 215 yards and two touchdowns, while the Jags had no interest in trying to score points. The RotoViz Pace App and Strength of Schedule Streaming App have mostly steered us right this entire season, and we’ll be looking at those again this week.
