Welcome to the game environment series. This series will provide several weekly games to target and fade, based on macro-level factors that impact fantasy production. For more on these factors, click here. We recommend using this in conjunction with our micro-level analysis, including the buy low report, the strength in numbers series, our quarterback, kicker, tight end, and defense streaming articles, and the slate of DFS analysis we provide.
Week 15 Review
Targets
Chiefs @ Saints
Lions @ Titans
Eagles @ Cardinals
Low-owned Game Stack
Buccaneers @ Falcons
Each of the targets was the high-scoring shootouts we hoped for and expected, with plentiful fantasy production for almost every relevant player in those games. Hopefully, a few players from those games carried to the championship round in your season-long leagues. In DFS, the Falcons-Bucs game provided solid leverage off of chalky Chiefs-Saints players, and the Eagles-Cardinals players came in lower-owned than I expected.
Fades
Jaguars @ Ravens
Bears @ Vikings
49ers @ Cowboys
The Ravens smashed the Jaguars, generating solid performances from the Ravens’ skill player and elite production from Lamar Jackson. As expected, the Jaguars couldn’t muster much of a response. The Bears-Vikings game wasn’t a shootout but the three-down roles of Dalvin Cook and David Montgomery helped them to RB1 production. The 49ers-Cowboys matchup was a surprising shootout, but the fantasy production was mostly spread around, preventing elite performances from non-Tony Pollard and Brandon Aiyuk players. On to the championship week.
