We’ll use the RotoViz tools to dive deep into the Week 8 advanced stats for every AFC backfield, focusing on expected points (EP), fantasy points over expectations (FPOE), and opportunity (snaps, targets, and carries).
Baltimore Ravens
Mark Ingram was nursing an ankle injury, which opened up the backfield for J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards to shine. Neither of them wasted their opportunities, but the rookie was particularly impressive, gaining 113 yards on 15 carries, also one catch for eight yards. Dobbins doubled Edwards’ snaps, and should be considered the team’s RB1 going forward as long as Ingram is out.
