Key Injuries
Budda Baker and Kenyan Drake have both logged nothing but limited practices this week. If the former were to miss, this would be a significant boost to the Seahawks passing game. While the expectation is that Drake will play, the fact his ankle injury is still ailing him after a month is a bit concerning.
Tyler Lockett and Chris Carson are the players whose injury news will dictate the slate. Carson practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday, but Lockett logged his second straight DNP. My initial hypothesis is that Carson suits up and Lockett sits.
Shaquill Griffin and Quinton Dunbar have already been ruled out for the Seahawks. Their already atrocious secondary will be missing two starters yet again.
Pace and Play Calling
We’ve already seen this game once, and the pace was maddening. ARZ@SEA projects to be the fastest game of any in Week 11, and it includes the fourth-highest average number of plays per game. This means many players can get involved in the fantasy goodness, but it also makes both defenses genuinely playable. There will be a ton of opportunity for turnovers and sacks.
It’s worth noting that SEA has been significantly more pass-friendly than ARZ. the Seahawks rank third in neutral pass rate, while the Cardinals rank all the way down at 27th.
