The Process
Before I look at Week 11, it is important to see if my process was successful. Here is a recap of last week’s recommendations. If you need a refresher on what to look for when analyzing defenses, read the first few paragraphs of Streaming Defenses — Week 2 article.
Defense | Sacks | Fumbles | Interceptions | Touchdowns | Points | Week 11 Rank |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Chargers D | 1 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 11 | 6th |
Vikings D | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 3 | 11th |
Dolphins D | 0 | 1 | 1 | 0 | -1 | 15th |
Last week wasn’t as pretty as we were hoping for. So we are thankful this is a new week and we have a new defensive streaming article. The Chargers were our best scoring defense last week with a pick-six on Joe Flacco. The Vikings and Dolphins were different stories, unfortunately. The RotoViz Pace App was correct in its projections in the pace of play for both games, but we didn’t get the bounces we needed. The RotoViz Pace App and Strength of Schedule Streaming App proved to be predictive last week and we’ll be looking at those again this week. Let’s keep the momentum going into this week.
