In this edition of Win the Dynasty Waiver Wire, Curtis Patrick shares his top waiver targets for Week 7 in dynasty fantasy football leagues.
For the purposes of this series, I’ll be using FFPC “percentage rostered” data and adding commentary regarding what to do in deeper leagues as well. Players are listed in the order of priority, by position. Quarterbacks are listed for purposes of Superflex and 2QB leagues. I only analyze players who are available in at least 50% of leagues.
Let’s take a look at the top priorities for Week 7.
Quarterback
No recommendations this week.
Running Back
Jeremy McNichols (available in 93.5% of leagues)
FAAB: 5%
After posting 14 carries and four targets over the past two weeks, it’s time to put McNichols back on the dynasty radar. Owner of a crisp 5.4 yards per carry in one of the league’s top rushing attacks, he’s Derrick Henry’s direct backup (while Darrynton Evans is on injured reserve) and operating in a change of pace role, too.
He’s capable of carrying the full load in the event Henry suffers an injury. An above-average athlete at the position, McNichols rushed for 3046 yards and 43 TDs in his final two seasons at Boise State.
Five of his top-11 athletic comps became significant fantasy producers in the NFL: Miles Sanders, Julius Jones, Knowshon Moreno, Doug Martin, and Felix Jones.
