Injury Report
The main injuries worth noting for the Denver Broncos include quarterback Drew Lock, who will miss another start due to a shoulder injury. Phillip Lindsay has been practicing in limited fashion all week and appears every bit of questionable. If he were to miss, Melvin Gordon likely becomes the strongest play on the slate.
Breshad Perriman has already been ruled out, while Chris Hogan and Jamison Crowder are both questionable after practicing in limited fashions all week. If one or both of Hogan and Crowder can’t go, it’ll be Braxton Berrios-season once again for the Jets.
Pace and Play Calling Tendencies
The Jets and Broncos rank 30th and 19th in plays per game, respectively. And while DEN plays at a fantasy-friendly 26.6 seconds per snap, we can expect NYJ to slow this game down with a seconds-per-snap rate outside the top half of the league. Both teams are also running more than we’d like for an island game, with DEN and NYJ ranking 16th and 23rd in situation-neutral pass rate.
