I think it’s really important to source redraft rankings when considering dynasty player value.
Let me explain.
We can look at dynasty rankings and dynasty ADP and appreciate what a player is worth to an analyst or the community at this point in time, but when we add in the situational analysis connected to projections for player performance in the season to come, we can actually peer into the future and form rational takes about a player’s projected value down the timeline. It was with this idea in mind that I invited Rich Hribar (Sharp Football) and Ryan McDowell (Dynasty League Football) to participate in my first annual Wide Receiver Crystal Ball Dynasty Rankings Summit.
For about three hours on a recent Dynasty Command Center Podcast, we placed ourselves in the time machine and fast-forwarded to 2021.
