Patience.
That’s what we hear all the time as dynasty owners. We know it can take several years for our rookie draft picks to return on value and become consistent producers in both real and fantasy football. Some positions, like tight ends, can take even longer to develop.
So, why do we lose patience so quickly? In a world dominated by instant gratification, the fantasy community is no different. Remember how bad the rookie season was for D.J. Chark? He was tossed aside by many after that year, despite his second-round pedigree and elite athleticism. Now, he’s being drafted as a top-25 wide receiver.
Don’t give up too soon. Here are three wide receivers, all (like Chark) with second-round NFL draft capital, that you should target in dynasty leagues. They may not all become fantasy relevant, but their depressed value makes them much easier to acquire than they were a year ago.
