Evan Engram, the New York Giants’ 25-year-old star tight end, underwent surgical fixation of a Lisfranc fracture of his foot in late December. A Lisfranc injury that requires surgery is a significant injury. It’s a subluxation (partial dislocation) of the usually very stable joints of the mid-foot that are required to run, cut and jump. It may or may not also involve a fracture.
