Having a breakout season is critical for a prospect’s profile. Sometimes the biggest hindrance for good prospects is being surrounded by other talented players that hog targets. This can lead to lower raw statistics and, more critically, a smaller market share. But every year, players leave the team either via graduation or declaring for the NFL draft and that opens up a void in the offense.
The team over at DevyWatch pulled together a list of the vacated production for each college football team in the FBS. So, using that data, I’m going to identify a few players situated well to see an increased workload and potentially break out. For the most part, I’m going to stick with Power Five schools because of their likelihood for higher draft capital.
