The Dallas Cowboys used the 133rd overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft to select wide receiver Ryan Switzer out of North Carolina. Switzer was the first offensive player taken by the Cowboys in the draft, as they used seven picks to try and bolster their defense ahead of the 2017 season. His selection marks the second time in Jerry Jones reign that he’s somewhat surprisingly taken a chance on a Switzer.
