The Trouble with Using Partial Seasons to Predict Future Performance

Predicting future performance in football is a challenging endeavor. To help in that process, we offer both a Game and Team Splits App. They’re very useful for getting at the impact one variable, like the presence or absence of a given player, has on a player’s performance. But there’s a risk involved in using splits to extrapolate future performance.
