It is common in dynasty leagues to see bias towards younger players. After all, they are usually flashier and brimming with “potential.” On the flip side of that, older players tend to be left for dead, considered “washed up” once they hit a certain age. Sometimes, that bias can slip into redraft formats as well. I think we are seeing that right now with Calvin Johnson....
