J.J. Watt, Houston’s star defensive lineman, suffered a lateral tibial plateau fracture on the first drive of Week 5. The tibial plateau involves the knee joint at the top of the shin bone and is a very significant injury.
David Johnson, the player I paid the most for in all of my auction drafts Arizona’s star running back, suffered a wrist injury this past Sunday. It was initially reported that X-rays were negative and he had suffered a wrist sprain. Then it was reported that he dislocated his wrist.
On July 26th, it was reported that Joe Flacco, the Ravens QB, injured his back while weightlifting. He was expected to miss “a week or two” of practice. He’s now missed the entire preseason and has still not been medically cleared to practice.
