Week 3 of the NFL preseason can be the trickiest of all the preseason slates. This is typically the regular season tuneup for most teams, with starters playing significant time. This hurts the edge gained through research, as fantasy gamers simply throwing in players they know/like can actually hit big.
We’re coming off some very nice slates the past couple days to a small five-game slate tonight. Make note of the fact that this slate starts two hours early, 5 PM EST. There’s also an early slate if you’d like to hop in that.
Over the course of the season, we’ll be looking at each game trying to uncover any potential value plays on DraftKings. We’ll utilize recent trends, usage, and opportunity while weighing both 2015 and 2016 performances during the early portion of the season to find potential value players in great matchups.
