In this weekly StarStreet value report, we’ll take a look at values by comparing a player’s FantasyPros Expert Consensus Ranking (ECR) to their salary rank. For instance, if Tom Brady is the 3rd overall quarterback according to ECR, but he’s ranked 10th in salary, there’s potentially a value there. I’ll dig deeper, looking at the matchup and the players historical performance through the lense of our GLSP projections and recommend a value/pass grade. In the end, it’s up to you to pick which players to play. Is Aaron Rodgers technically a value if he’s 2nd in ECR but 5th in salary? Yes, but Matthew Stafford might be 5th in ECR and ranked 14th in salary and is the better play.

As always, don’t forget to diversify your lineups, and remember to always play within your means. Be sure to check out our StarStreet Lineup Dominator app to see how these players fit into your weekly strategy. You can sign up for StarStreet here.

Andre Brown613-7$11,300RBIn Brown’s last 3 games, he has 69 attempts and is averaging 4 targets per game. Although Washington is only allowing 4 YPC to opposing rushers, they’re tied for the league high with 15 rushing touchdowns given up this season.Value
DeMarco Murray1121-10$10,600RBDespite producing like he was early in the season when he was the RB8, Murray continues to get no love. The Oakland Raiders have a league average defense according to ProFootballFocus, only posting a +2.8 rating on the season. Take advantage of the disparity between his actual value and perceived value.Value
Alfred Morris1217-5$10,800RBThe Giants run defense is the 6th best in the league, only allowing 3.7 YPC and 7 touchdowns on the season. It doesn’t seem this way, but Morris only has 3 games of 20+ carries, all in the last 4 weeks. Morris’ mean projection of 12.5 points is what I think you’re in line for here.Pass
Maurice Jones-Drew1530.5-15.5$9,900RBThe price is low, but the upside (14.5 points) just isn’t there to justify his price tag, especially when Shane Vereen and Pierre Thomas are cheaper.Pass
C.J. Spiller1929-10$10,100RBSee Maurice Jones-Drew.Pass
Shane Vereen2138-17$9,300RBIn 3 games this season, Vereen has 32 targets. With Ridley and Blount fumbling, he saw some work on the ground (10 carries) and racked up 91 total yards against the Broncos. The Texans are giving up 4.2 yards per carry, so I think you can bank on higher efficiency carrying the ball, along with 6-8 receptions.Value
Pierre Thomas2435.5-11.5$9,600RBThomas’ carries over the last 4 games: 6, 17, 11, and 10. The Seahawks are giving up the 6th least adjusted-fantasy points to running backs this season. That low workload isn’t going to get it done against the Seahawks.Pass
Alshon Jeffery1319-6$10,900WRI love all the #Bears this week. Minnesota is allowing 282 yards passing per game, and they’ve given up a league leading 24 passing touchdowns this season. Jeffery’s 8.6 points last Sunday were just the 2nd time since week 3 he’s had a game below 10 points. Fire up #TeamTrestman.Value
Michael Floyd1824-6$10,400WRWe’re going to see the best of the Arizona offense this week against a terrible Philadelphia pass defense. Floyd has been a solid WR3 all season, but he’s come on the last 2 weeks. His ceiling is high against Philly.Value
Harry Douglas1921.5-2.5$10,700WRDouglas is a great high floor player to have in your lineups, but there’s no discount here.Push
Jarrett Boykin2127-6$10,200WRI might just roll with Boykin to see if I can catch the Tiquan Underwood magic. Detroit is a mess at their #2 corner position, and they’ve been getting shredded by WR2s all year. For what it’s worth, GLSP predicts Boykin and Nelson within a point of each other this week.Value
Eric Decker2225.5-3.5$10,300WRI have trouble thinking Decker can live up to this price against the Chiefs, and it’s not much of a discount anyways.Pass
Julius Thomas59-4$10,000TEThomas is a top 5 TE this week, as long as he’s healthy. According to Rotoworld, he’s expected to play.Value
Greg Olsen611-5$9,800TEOlsen is the new Rudolph: he hurts you if he doesn’t score. Olsen hasn’t quite sunk to Rudolph’s 2 for 24 standard yet, but it seems like it’s headed in that direction. He has as good a chance of scoring a touchdown as any against this Buccaneers pass defense. Sprinkle him throughout your lineups.Value
Tom Brady611.5-5.5$12,200QBThe Patriots are back to having the diverse weapons that made their offense so dangerous the last few years. It’s smooth sailing from here on out.Value
Josh McCown823.5-15.5$10,900QBMcCown is going to be a staple in my lineups this week. Even if he won’t put up elite numbers, he’ll certainly be better than the QB23. #InTrestmanWeTrustValue
Philip Rivers1016.5-6.5$11,500QBAlthough Rivers just shredded Kansas City, I wouldn’t start him against Cincinnati. The Bengals are more efficient against the pass (5.9 YPA allowed vs 7) and are allowing fewer yards per game (208 vs 235). They’ve been shredded the last 3 games, but 1 of those they went up 49-3 sending the Jets into pass happy mode, and the other 2 went into overtime.Pass
