How do we account for things like Calvin being injured for Stafford? I noticed a decent floor for him here. Is the best way to adjust to just use the slider for the last two or three games for Stafford? Seems like a super small sample. Is there a better way to account for playing at home against a DEF as poor as NO? Thanks.
Is there a point in the year where you'd stop including games from last season in a player's projection? Makes sense to eventually focus on only this season, but don't know if 3-4 games is enough info for app accuracy.
So I notice Tony Romo has a fairly high point prediction for this week....when using this should I take into account the fact that he has had a paltry start to the season? Also is there anyway to look at previous week's predictions to take a look at accuracy?
What's the significance of the contributing matchups and how do they tie to a QB's projected total for that week?
what the other guy said a year ago. what's the story with getting that done? I would pay good money to have this info in a sortable spreadsheet. having to type in 500 names each week is a major pain just to find out what their projections are.
can someone here please chime in on this? such a great, great tool but it's design for usage is so cumbersome.
@thefantasymate ideally you want the largest sample possible. but you also want the most representative sample possible. if the 2013 usage is not consistent with 2014 usage, then you need to start considering dropping the 2013 games.
if you have a question about projections for players, you can always look at the daily apps. they contain essentially my projections based on using all of the information available to me. Fanduel is 1/2 ppr, and DraftKings is full ppr. If you're in a std league then the Fanduel app is going to be the closest approximation.
@jlane0788 if you slide the slider to just show Romo's games from this year, it drops the projection by about 5 points.
the fact that it's a customizable projection makes providing a historical record difficult as it's meant to be changed by users.
@MattNicgorski Hey, we actually will have separate apps for daily lineups (i think that's what you're getting at as nobody has 500 qbs that they need to do start/sit with each week). The other apps will be up today or tomorrow.
