Dynasty Buy Low: Taywan Taylor

By now, most rookie drafts are in the books and the summer hype is just beginning. Our attention drifts to other things as the countdown to the start of football season begins in earnest. This lull in the football calendar can make for a great time to acquire players, whether you’re rebuilding or fighting for the title. With that in mind, I wanted to highlight a second-year wide receiver who is falling too far under the radar.

Despite being drafted in the early third-round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Taywan Taylor was used sparingly as a rookie, amassing less than 30 targets despite playing in every game. Stuck behind first-rounder Corey Davis, underappreciated  Rishard Matthews, and 30-year-old Eric Decker, Taylor hauled in just five more passes than Derrick Henry and operated as the clear No. 4 wide receiver. For an early third-round pick, the lack of production and opportunity is somewhat disappointing.
