It’s Finally Time to Buy Eric Ebron

After a TE13 finish for the Lions last season, Eric Ebron was released and signed with the Colts. Ebron was selected No. 10 in the 2014 NFL draft — ahead of Odell Beckham Jr. — and has mostly disappointed in his short career. We’ve consistently banged the table for Ebron. He was Ben Gretch’s favorite dynasty buy low in 2016. Last season, Anthony Amico, Graham Barfield, and I all believed a breakout was coming. Although he hasn’t performed up to his lofty expectations, Ebron has still been very good for a tight end that’s yet to play as a 25-year-old. I’ll explain why we shouldn’t give up on Ebron by discussing the historic age of peak tight end seasons, Ebron’s past production and similar players, and the comments made by his new coach.
