Week 15 Fantasy Football Waiver Advice

Week 15 waiver wire advice. The parameters and assumptions of this weekly waiver wire advice column can be found in the preseason introduction. My advice this week is pared down to focus on teams that are in the playoffs but need a spot start or want to block their playoff opponents by grabbing the few remaining free agents that might make an impact. These players are listed in the order I prefer them, with availability in ESPN leagues in parentheses, but depending on your league and roster, your mileage may vary. Hit me up in the comments for specific questions.

  1. Jeff says:

Is NO defense a no brainer streaming option this week since Bryce Petty is starting?

More specifically would you take them over WAS defense this week. I had picked up WAS in two leagues because they have IND and DEN but now i''m thinking NO is an even better matchup. The streaming D app had the mathcup slightly green but obviously it doesn't know McCown is out.

  2. Matt says:

I think NO is a top 3 DST this week. I may be biased, as I have NO and LAC (facing NYJ week 16) in one league, but I'd definitely roll with each of them over WAS personally. Experts seem to agree as well.

  3. NO is my personal favorite streaming option for the week. Petty might not be atrocious, but he's also not going to put up huge numbers. So they'd have a relatively safe floor and should have some turnover upside with a questionable QB. WAS against ARI is an ok option, but would rank pretty far below NO for me.

  4. Jeff says:

Me too re: the Chargers defense.
