2018 NFL Draft Prospect: Auden Tate

On December 27th, Auden Tate will look to score his eighth touchdown of the season as FSU takes on Southern Miss in the Independence Bowl. Tate, a big bodied wide receiver, struggled with shoulder and foot injuries throughout the course of his junior season. While he hasn’t produced the strongest stat-line during his time as a Seminole, his size, athleticism, and red zone ability have drawn the attention of NFL scouts. Tate arrived at Florid State as a 4-star recruit, ranked by Rivals as the nation’s WR22. Due to his imposing 6-foot-5, 225-pound stature, he immediately drew comparisons to former Seminole Kelvin Benjamin. He played in six games during his freshman season but was not a factor in the FSU offense as a result of injury.
