2018 NFL Draft Prospect: Kerryon Johnson

It’s been up in the air whether or not one of the top running back prospects in the country will suit up and play when Auburn faces the University of Central Florida Knights in the Peach Bowl on January 1st. The Tigers’ Kerryon Johnson is coming off a highly-productive junior season but is battling a shoulder and rib injuries. Most reports have the 6-0, 212-pound back at full health and playing in what could be his final college game if he decides to declare for the NFL draft. Johnson gutted through the injuries in the SEC Championship game against Georgia, posting his worst rushing line of 2017. It was a rare quiet outing in a season which saw him lead the SEC in rushing, despite not only that injury-affected off game, but also missing two games entirely early in the season.
