Week 9 Air Yards: The Best Wide Receivers to Buy Low

Each week I break out air yards data to find the wide receivers that stand the best chance to see an increase in their fantasy production. Last week was another good one for the model. Many WRs on the list posted top-12 performances, and both tight ends were TE1s. This week we see a very interesting repeat name near the top of the list.

  1. Andy says:

This is a basic question. On your chart, what exactly do "predict" "actual fp" stand for?

Does predict = The model's predicted PPR points/game for the remainder of the season? Or predicted points/game for the season up to this point? Or the predicted points for next game on the schedule?

Does actual fp = actual PPR points/game scored for the season up to this point?

  2. This is always an interesting piece. Pleasing to note that I have Funchess, Lee, Allen and Rish Matthews on my roster!

I actually dropped Zay Jones for John Ross last wk on @BenGretch advice.

I don't want to seem too hasty, but any thoughts on who is the better bet, going forward?
