Waiver Wire Dumpster Diving Week 12

Waiver Wire Dumpster Diving takes you beyond the obvious plays and helps you find undervalued gems for deep leagues. Judging by all the new injuries from Week 11, you might be in dire need of a roster boost to get you into the playoffs.  Considering all of my IR spots in my dynasty league are all filled up and I just lost Chris Thompson for the season, and maybe Kelvin Benjamin too, I am right there with you. Let’s go dumpster diving.

Each week, I look for candidates owned in 10% or less of ESPN leagues

I can free up a bench spot by dropping Chris Thompson.

Do you think it's more worthwhile to pick up Zay Jones over Big Ben?

I have 4 WRs (Baldwin, Demaryius, Coreys Davis and Coleman) currently and start 3.

I have Matt Ryan as my starting QB.

This is purely a stash for the playoffs, specifically Weeks 15-16.

I am not sure Zay is necessarily an upgrade over my other WRs but he certainly has a great schedule. Big Ben vs Matt Ryan is also debatable either way. Am I better off just using the bench spot for a DEF stash? Running with 4 WRs too risky? Just drop Ryan for Ben?
