Ultimate Zero RB Watch list – AFC Week 11

The Ultimate Zero RB Watch List helps you keep track of every backfield development in the AFC and provides a wealth of weekly and seasonal advanced stats. I have read more than a few proclamations on Twitter recently that Zero RB is dead in 2017. Yet, this week, the list of RB1s included Austin EkelerAlvin KamaraDion LewisTevin Coleman, Kenyan Drake, and Rex Burkhead. If Zero RB is dead, these guys didn’t get the memo. RB points have been available on the waiver wire in 2017 just like any year. Players who went undrafted over the summer continue to win fantasy weeks, and that is unlikely to change as we barrel towards the fantasy playoffs. Let’s dig into the latest developments in AFC backfields.

  1. Good lord. Tough.

Me personally, I'm going Burkhead for the higher ceiling, but I admit I might be biased. Lewis may well be the better play. Who are you taking @FF_Contrarian?

  2. I like Burkhead. He has more paths to points and needs less to go right, but I'm also very biased with huge Burkhead ownership. (Lewis looks great and the early-down role in NE is certainly valuable.)

  3. @Will, just a quick chart I created based on the available RBs in my league. You can try a similar approach. I am dropping Foreman for Conner. I am trying to get West and Yeldon on my roster.

  4. Ah. Yeah, probably still West. Though with Connor, it's worth remembering that he has zero passing chops. Pretty low floor there, even in the event of a Bell injury.

I'd rather have pass-catching guys like, say, Rod Smith, than straight handcuffs.
