Tuesday Trades: Week 11 Fantasy Deadline Edition

Welcome back to Tuesday Trades, a weekly column that will highlight players to target today before their prices change tomorrow. Philip Rivers is in the concussion protocol, and Brett Hundley is dealing with a hamstring injury. If Kellen Clemens and Joe Callahan join the list of 2017 quarterback starters, it will truly be a sign that the NFL gods are trolling the owners for blackballing GQ‘s Citizen of the Year, Colin Kaepernick. Injury rates have always been a central piece of Zero RB thinking. Looking at the impact of QB injuries on wide receivers will be an interesting project for the offseason, especially as the elite QB ranks continue to be dominated by runners and aging stars. For the stretch run, and hopefully before the trade deadline for many of you, here are some of the best buys and sells at each position.

  1. MelHo owner won’t sell low. Is hyde enough of a pull for diggs or allen?

  2. @kdenigris I don't think so, just because I think the usage down the stretch for SF is really unknown.

  3. @devinmci great piece as ever, required reading even though my trade deadline has now passed. I picked up Coleman in a trade at the deadline, despite being playoff-bound at 8-2, so was interested to see you had him as a sell.

My thoughts were that he was an injury away from a huge workload, while already being an effective back in his own right. My other RBs are Mixon, Murray and Foreman and I only usually start 2 as can start 5 WRs in our league.

    Have I made a mistake?

  4. @thickfreakness That trade seems pretty unlikely to happen, but yeah, I'd take Gordon and Diggs for Hunt...

Tough to trade when your players have underperformed or gotten unlucky . . . Dez undervalued right now, I think Mixon is too. DT, I really don't know . . . the offense limits him, but nobody is going to pay for back to back TD weeks in blowout games.

Honestly, I think the squad looks good, and I wouldn't be desperate to shake it up. In half ppr you need those TDs from WRs and you at least have guys in position to get them. I want to hoard that RB depth heading into the stretch. Maybe if you can trade DT+Hunt for Brandin Cooks+Lamar Miller or Jordan Howard, that could be nice. I think Cooks is slightly undervalued right now.

  5. I've actually got him thinking about the Gordon/Diggs trade and I think I'd just need to add one of Lynch/Martin/Crowder/Anderson to make it go through.
