PGA DFS: The RSM Classic Course Intro, Key Statistics, Picks, and Fades

This week’s event, the RSM Classic, is at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia. It’s played oddly because the first two days are played on the regular course and the plantation course, while the weekend is only played on the regular track. This muddies the data since a golfer needs to get four rounds to be in the focus group of winners, but they only play ¾ days on the original course we’re planning for. I still think it gives us a good idea who will perform, especially when it counts on the weekend.

The Course

The links course is a 7,000 yard par 70 with bermuda greens, fairways, tees, and rough. The fairways are somewhat on the smaller side, but the course is easy. The rough should not be too penal. The first two par 5s will be scoring holes, and everyone should be there in two.
