Streaming Defenses: 3 Sneaky Options for Week 6

Another week done, and another week of streaming defenses in the books. In Week 5, Matt Wispe was slightly more successful than I was in Week 4. Here are the weekly finishes so far:
Week Team Rank Team Rank Team Rank
1 IND T-22nd ATL T-17th BUF T-10th
2 TB T-1st LAC T-23rd OAK T-8th
3 GB T-16th PHI 25th MIA T-18th
4 ATL T-15th CHI T-23rd CLE T-18th
5 PHI 14th BUF T-15th NYG T-21st
Once again, honorable mentions were better than the rest, as both Baltimore and Tennessee finished in the top five. Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Seattle are on bye this week, so there will be extra competition on the waivers, but three cheap defenses make great options.

  1. curious about when the ownership numbers are taken-- Falcons are at 53% in ESPN right now. But i do love that call.

  2. Well of course everyone knows to stream ATL and WAS this week at home against awful Miami and San Francisco....in several of my leagues, I was beaten to them on the waiver wire, however, by other owners doing exactly the same thing.

Sneaky start for this week? Give me New Orleans at home against Detroit. New Orleans is quietly not near as bad as everyone thinks they are on defense, and they are coming off a bye, going up against a banged up Stafford. They follow the golden rule of streaming defenses playing at home. I've got them in a couple spots this week.....Alex Anzalone hair on fire strategy!!

  3. Trey says:

Well anzalone is on ir sooooo... I’m also in the same boat. People hoard Ds in one league. I’m in between the saints and Green Bay for this week. Any thoughts?
