On Sunday, Baltimore Ravens running back Danny Woodhead had three receptions and one carry on their opening drive. While running a route near the goal line, Woodhead went down with a hamstring injury and had to be carted to the locker room. We don’t have confirmation that it is the same hamstring the 32-year-old was struggling with dating back to training camp, but you can connect the dots. A four-to-six week timetable for return was initially reported but ESPN’s Adam Schefter now expects that to be six-to-eight weeks.
So, what to do?
Ravens' RB Danny Woodhead expected to miss 6-8 weeks with hamstring injury, per league source, which would make him a candidate for IR.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 13, 2017
