Declaring Victory for Zero RB…

…after Week 1 is totally, utterly ridiculous. I’ve seen Zero RB victory laps on Twitter and, of course, I’ve seen them in the RotoViz Slack chat. But y’all, it’s ONE WEEK. Yes, I’m the dude who said the circumstances have never been better for Zero RB — and I still believe that. However, it’s totally bogus to go around claiming Zero RB victory after one week. So let me rain on the parade a bit.

David Johnson

Okay, this situation totally sucks. David Johnson has been placed on IR and is expected to miss 2-3 months with a wrist injury. Dr. Jeffrey Budoff, M.D., explains why Johnson could have possibly played through the injury, but ultimately it was a team decision and the consensus No. 1 overall pick in 2017 drafts is set to miss at least half the fantasy season.

is Tyler Irvin startable this week in HPPR or PPR leagues where im trotting out A-Peterson or Vereen? 63% snap rate, 5 targets and everyone else but Hopkins who was targeted sunday is literally out- anderson, fiedorowitz, griffin....maybe irvin dump offs will be important in rough matchup?

  2. Jeff says:

I would start Irvin over AP. The Saints defense will get torched by Brady. Doubt AP plays much just like week 1.

  3. Jeff says:

yes do that trade now before the person talks to someone that knows anything about FF. In my leagues that trade would be protested its so one sided.

    Hey RotoDoc,

I am in a no PPR League with 10 teams, 14 game season, 4 make playoffs.

    It's a 1-2-2-1-1-1-1 lineup.

I have been offered David Johnson for Alshon Jeffrey.

I have Zeke and D. Murray as starting backs with Coleman, Charles, Prosise bench.

Receivers are Cooper, Diggs, Jeffrey, Britt, Coleman, Lee, Marshall.

Tight ends are Kelce and Olsen and we can start both.

I want to make this trade but am concerned about losing Jeffrey and if I'll have enough at 3rd receiver with my bench.

Also considering the time factor of no Johnson until week 10 when I'm possibly 4-6 and petty much out of it.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  5. Matt says:

Cooper is not your flex he's your WR 2 with a much higher ceiling than Baldwin or Fitz. Gillislee will be frustrating to own. That deal is incredibly 1 sided in your favor.
