David Johnson Injury Update

David Johnson, the player I paid the most for in all of my auction drafts Arizona’s star running back, suffered a wrist injury this past Sunday. It was initially reported that X-rays were negative and he had suffered a wrist sprain. Then it was reported that he dislocated his wrist. Assuming that a competent orthopedic surgeon read his X-rays, these statements are mutually exclusive. As this is the NFL, unless you hear that Arizona fired their surgeon, I’ll assume that the X-rays were not misinterpreted.

What's the status on David Johnson now?

The DJ owner in my home league is about to drop him but is fielding offers in case anyone wants a first crack.

I will be 8-1 after this week and a near-lock to make the playoffs. My lineup:

    Wilson
Hunt, Kamara, Allen, Coleman, Lewis, Mack, Prosise
Evans, Landry, Thielen, C. Davis, Richardson, C. Coleman
    Kelce

Should I bother trading for him? What's the most you'd give up for a chance at having DJ in the playoffs (or keeping him from an opponent)?

Or should I just wait (and risk) until he is dropped? If so, how much of my FAAB should I bid (49 of 100 left)?
