3 Bold Predictions for Week 2

“I never saw that one coming.” In this bold predictions series, we’ll take a look at weekly matchups, using history as a contextual backdrop in order to unearth unexpected events that may actually have a chance at coming true. Last week, I missed on all three bold predictions. I forecast that no rookie would hit 100 yards rushing or receiving. Leonard Fournette hit 100 on the nose, and Dalvin Cook broke Adrian Peterson’s record for rushing yards in a debut with 127. I’m not even mad; it’s electric when rookies make an immediate impact. On to Week 2. We start early with a prediction for Thursday Night Football, and we’ll update the article on Friday with a fresh fortune.
