Matthew Freedman (@MattFtheOracle): Editor-in-Chief for FantasyLabs and RotoViz podcast producer

Nick Giffen (@RotoDoc): Editor for RotoViz, two-time qualifier for the DraftKings NASCAR Main Event, and back-to-back winner of the Clash at Daytona $125k GPP

Matt and Nick talk about the Kentucky race and why Nick is playing the two front row starters more and more in the same lineup at these mile-and-a-half ovals. Nick also talks about Kyle Larson’s penalty, the three race suspension to his Crew Chief Chad Johnston, and whether that will Larson’s performance this weekend at New Hampshire and the two races after.

Nick and Matt talk about how races have tended to play out at New Hampshire, and how that affects dominator strategy and pole-sitter strategy in GPPs. Nick explains how the way races play out are also reflected in the significance of both short and long run speed in practice. Nick explains why it’s a great week to play cash games this week based off how qualifying shook out. As usual, Nick gives his dominator, cash game, and GPP picks, along with his Joe Dirt cheap pick of the race.

Update: There was also a hiccup when it was announced that Kyle Larson’s pole-winning time was disallowed, meaning he will start 39th, while Martin Truex, Jr. inherits the pole. For DraftKings scoring purposes, Larson is starting 39th, and Truex starts 1st, because it counts like Larson never made a qualifying attempt.

The show’s introduction is provided by the vocal talents of Randy E. Aguebor (@RandyAguebor), the Arbitrage James Earl Jones.
