My Favorite Dynasty Buy Low: Laquon Treadwell

After hauling in only one reception for 15 yards in 2016, it’s fair to say that Laquon Treadwell’s NFL career didn’t start off on the right foot. Those who paid incredibly high prices to obtain him in dynasty drafts before his rookie season are likely feeling burned and regretting their decision. It is difficult to determine the root of Treadwell’s lack of involvement during the 2016 season without going down Narrative Street. Was it was simply his lack of development, an old school coaching style,1 nagging injuries, the last minute QB change, or a new offensive coordinator mid-season? What we do know is that Treadwell has been operating out of the WR3 position for the Vikings so far this offseason, a great sign that he is developing and will take a step forward in 2017. Since he currently has what may be a career low asking price, now is the time to strike.
  1. We have seen a similar pattern with Trae Waynes, the 10th overall pick in 2015.  (back)
