Fantasy Football Free Agency Preview: Kansas City Chiefs

Free agency has a major impact on fantasy football. We’re a long way from the 2017 league year, but for dynasty team owners — especially those who’ve missed the playoffs — it’s never too early to start thinking about how player values could change. Over the next few weeks, I’ll run through each team’s free agency situation, using information from Over the Cap. I’ll use the Screener App as well as free agency status to identify potential team needs. I won’t speculate (too much) on destinations for certain players yet, but will offer some preliminary thoughts about possible value situations. As the offseason progresses, we’ll use the information in this series of articles to reach more specific conclusions about player movement and value changes.

  1. When you mention you would trade for maclin with wr3 value and charles as a rb2 value. What do you consider equivalent draft picks for the values you mention?
    Wr and rb 1 value
    Wr and rb2
Wr and rb3 value equivalent draft picks?

I know this comment is confusing but I'm trying to figure out what I should offer to get maclin or Charles if I wanted them on my team.

  2. CK says:

depends a bit how deep your league is, etc. but i'd start with second-round picks.

  3. Ten team dynasty

So you'd say second rounders are what you'd toss at a wr3 rb2?
I'm still relatively new at dynasty as I took over for a team midway through the 2015 season in an established league so I am trying to figure out draft pick value smile.

    Thank you!
